Originally the cottage was built as a garage, it was also thought to have been used as servant’s quarters for a neighboring home and was left vacant and neglected for many years, most recently being used as a storage building; it was completely renovated and decorated with the help of local designer Jane Coslick and most recently updated in 2012. This little adorable 1950′s honeymoon cottage offers eclectic furnishings, antiques, tile floors, and an I-pod docking station, and is so quiet and comfortable you may not want to leave! Located mid-island near the marsh; 3 blocks away from the back river beach where you can watch sunsets, go fishing, or just relax on the beach, only 6 blocks (1/4 mile) to main beach. Nicely furnished screened porch floor is made from salvaged Savannah grey-bricks and topped with tin roof, perfect sitting for afternoon showers.

Private parking is available for 2 cars and room for a small boat, too. Wireless High Speed Internet/WIFI is available for guest use.
