The Mardi Gras Tybee event encompasses the traditions of Mardi Gras, an event with origins dating back to the ancient Romans and carried on today in cities such as Mobile, Alabama and New Orleans, Louisiana. Mardi Gras is held on the last day before the start of Lent.

Tybee Island will be dressed up in an array of purple, gold, and green flags depicting the Tybee Mardi Gras celebration. Mardi Gras Tybee will include the Mardi Gras Parade and Street Party featuring free live entertainment and much more! View the event photo gallery below.
