Brethren of the Coast be gatherin’ for the Buccaneer’s Ball at the Crab Shack on October 8th, from 7-10pm. Come one and all to witness the coronation of the 2009 King and Queen of the Tybee Island Pirate Fest who will be crowned at 7:30pm and will reign over the ball and the rest of the Pirate Fest weekend festivities..
Live music will be heard and there be a bountiful feast of Crab Doubloons, Peg Leg Chicken, Swords of Shrimp, Veggie Bites, Bar-B-Q Boar Bites and more! 2 cash bars so ye won’t be waitin’ for yer favorite Grog.

Tybee Island Pirate Festival won the applause of GEORGIA Magazine readers in the magazine’s 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards contest, as published in its October 2009 issue. In the contest, loyal readers nominated their favorite Georgia people, places and things. Tybee Island Pirate Festival won in the Annual Event category.
