Welcome back Budweiser Clydesdales!

Perhaps St. Patrick wouldn’t be so happy to see how we celebrate his religious feast day here on Tybee and Savannah but I can tell you it is a heck of a good time! Tybee is going green on March 14th with a fun, family friendly parade. It begins at City Hall and proceeds down Butler Avenue to Tybrisa Street. Everyone enjoys the colorful and creative floats, Junkanoo performers Barabbas and the Tribe, the brilliant bagpipe unit out of New York, and all the marching bands. This year we are happy to announce the Budweiser Clydesdales will be returning for the first time since 2009! Be sure to stop by the special Budweiser Clydesdales Meet & Greet at 1 p.m. at the Tybee Island YMCA located at 204 5th Street. So don your green and head out to the beach for a more laid back approach to Saint Patricks Day. The parade starts at 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The parade is always incredible however there are literally throngs of people partying on the streets. It’s always a good time but you should link HERE for our survival guide.
