One of Tybee’s newest restaurants and certainly most elegant, is the Tybee Island Fish Camp. Don’t let the name throw you, this place is going to impress. The building is an adorable 1950s beach cottage nestled under live oak and cedar trees. The cocktails are carefully hand crafted and the wine list is extensive and the food…Well, the food is undeniably amazing.

Sundae Cafe looks unassuming on the outside but you will be surprised when you walk in. This place is well established as one of the top places on Tybee to have an extraordinary dining experience. The majority of the dishes are definitely southern inspired and focus on seafood and steaks, but they are so exquisitely prepared that you will think that you are dining in a Michelin starred restaurant. On a side note, the martini menu is something you have to check out, find one that sounds appealing, and order it. If you don’t, you have really missed out.

If you are into a more casual scene, then you should really try North Beach Bar & Grill. It looks like a typical little beach shack but the menu is fantastic. The food has a definite Caribbean flair and the chef’s only use sustainable seafood and the freshest ingredients. They take a lot of pride in the dishes served, so don’t expect to get in and get out. It is worth the wait. Keep in mind that there Sunday Brunch is easily one of the best on Tybee.
