Savannah Parkinson Support Group is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Tybee Island Kite Festival for Movement Disorders.  Come fly a kite in honor of someone you love.  Representatives from area businesses that support families with movement disorders will be there, explaining the resources and services. Early Registration (with November 3rd Kite Pick-up) is online now at https://www.thetybeetourist.com/ti-kite-festival-2018 (See Flyer below). This year’s festival is in honor of Dr. Alice P. Gerber whose husband, Marx was diagnosed with Parkinson disease in the early 1980’s.  Savannah Parkinson Support Group was founded as a result of the struggle that they endured, seeking understanding and treatment of this debilitating disease.  Now more than 85, Dr. Gerber continues to work diligently, raising funding and awareness for Movement Disorders.   SPSG is also seeking additional volunteers to assist before and after the Kite Festival.
