Where can I find more information about this event. My family is planning to visit the Island for a family get away (consisting of all ages). I was wondering if this event was okay for small children as well as adults & if food will be served & is there a fee to partake in the festivities? Also, is this actually on the beach or boardwalk and will we be able to sit on the beach and see the event (fireworks, etc.)? There will be about 20 of us (smile).

      Hi Valerie,
This is a simple event. There is a concert on the pier with the Swinging Medallions which is family friendly. Then at dark the fireworks are shot from the end of the pier and can be seen from the beach. There are no vendors for food and the event is free. You are more than welcome to pack a picnic for the beach and stay for the fireworks or have dinner at any of our establishments and then head to the beach.

Will the Swinging Medallions be playing for the Labor Day Beach Bash?
