“On the Road Again” Barbershop Musical
Summer has returned and the merry voices of harmony are once again packing up for a cross country tour of adventure and sightseeing – singing all the way, of course. Planning for a trip of this nature is a challenging task when about 25 guys and gals chip in with their strong suggestions of where to go and how to get there.
Expressed in the songs of Stephen Foster, Johnny Mercer, Fred Loewe, Gene Pitney, Elvis, Randy Newman, Willie Nelson and others, the joys and drawbacks of travel are sung in a harmonious barbershop style by ladies and gentlemen of 13th Colony Sound Chorus and its Quartets.
Post patrons will remember this group’s amazing sold-out show, “All About Savannah” last summer.
Performance proceeds will benefit the Fresh Air Home of Tybee Island. Keep The Whole World Singing!
Saturday, June 15, 7 pm. Tickets $15/$18 reserved seating
