John Cranford, frontman and principal songwriter for Hilton Head’s Cranford Hollow Band, performs the simple, yet timeless songs of Paul Simon. From “Mrs. Robinson” to “Graceland,” there’s a lot of ground to cover.
Ty Thompson, guitarist for the ‘60s British Invasion tribute band The Hypnotics, will be performing the music of John Lennon. Ty enjoys Lennon’s music, both his Beatles and solo material because of its well-written lyrics and clever musicality.
Liv Annalise, a singer-songwriter from Richmond Hill, is a former American Idol finalist and recipient of the 2019 Bryan County “Favorite Local Band” award. She’s performing the music of Carly Simon, focusing on Simon’s early pop career in the 1970s that included such hits as “Anticipation,” “You’re So Vain” and “No one Does it Better.”
And Ben Wells, a Savannah singer-songwriter and mainstay of the Savannah Songwriters Series, is performing the music of East Texas’s literate lyricist and bandleader Lyle Lovett, who hailed from the world of Western swing but who covers the genres of jazz, blues, country and even gospel in his diverse catalog.
