14th ANNUAL IRISH HERITAGE CELEBRATION PARADE
Its time again for the “green folk” to gather on our island paradise and celebrate their Irish Heritage. That’s what its all about, you know! The purpose of this parade is to celebrate and recognize Irish contributions to our community, state, and nation.
Irish Clans assemble on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3pm to march with their families, a tradition that goes back a mighty long way. And with the Clans, expect to see the Police Emerald Society, the Flags of Ireland, the entourage of the Grand Marshall from the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Alee Shriners, bands, Irish dancers, floats, the Beach Brigade, local celebrities and dignitaries as they all seek to honor our local Irish Heritage.
The Irish Heritage Parade Committee takes this opportunity to thank the City of Tybee and all the sponsors who make this parade a great success. Stop by Tybee Market IGA for your official souvenir t-shirt.
As always, we expect fantastic springtime weather, so COME JOIN US for a real Irish Celebration as the Parade starts at City Hall, moves along US Highway 80, and ends near the Tybee Pier!!
