2nd Annual Tybee Island Restaurant Week Celebrates Island’s Coastal Culinary Scene January 16-25    

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. Tybee Island, Georgia, a classic Southern beach town just 20 minutes east of historic Savannah, Ga., is set to kick off its 2nd Annual Tybee Island Restaurant Week on January 16-25, 2015. 

Sponsored in part by Connect Savannah, Tybee Island Restaurant Week will feature 10-days of delicious island fare at a long list of local dining hotspots, from traditional island favorites like A-Js Dockside, Sundae Cafe and North Beach Bar & Grill to one of Tybees newest restaurants, 80 East Gastropub. Diners will appreciate the islands growing culinary scene from simple, fresh seafood to more complex dishes created by the islands more ambitious chefs. 

Tybee Restaurant Week is the perfect excuse to visit your favorite beach and dine on delicious island cuisine, said Tracy McMahon, owner of Coco’s Sunset Grille. There are super talented chefs here on Tybee that are getting creative with delicious new menu options guests are sure to enjoy.” 

During Tybee Island Restaurant Week, food lovers can choose from multi-course menu options at a fixed cost of $25 per person at each participating location (fixed price does not include tax, gratuity or beverages). In addition, the City of Tybee will offer island visitors complimentary parking after 5 p.m.
