YOGA ME FIT LAUNCHES SUNDAY SESSIONS ON ‘THE ART OF YOGA’ TO BENEFIT TYBEE ARTS ASSOCIATION

SAVANNAH, GA- September 1, 2017- Yoga Me Fit launches a new program to kick off after Labor Day. “The Art of Yoga” classes will take place at 11 a.m. every Sunday starting September 10 through November 19, located at the Tybee Arts Association, 7 Cedarwood Avenue on Tybee Island. Yoga Me Fit will be donating 20% of proceeds from these sessions to the Tybee Arts Association, a nonprofit organization committed to developing and sustaining interest, appreciation, and enjoyment of the arts in Chatham County. Funds raised for the Tybee Arts Association from these sessions will help support the nonprofit organization’s mission to bring the arts into people’s lives through art shows, theatre workshops, art classes and much more.

Yoga Me Fit founder and owner Lynn Geddes Wolling has nearly thirty years of experience in yoga instruction and explains, “We can see art and science at our core human capacities, it represents our adaptive capacity and ability to surrender to change and be at peace in the unknown. These sessions will provide insight on balancing our true nature and I look forward to people experiencing the beauty and profound joy of yoga as we help maintain the work of the Tybee Arts Association.”

“The Art of Yoga” is suitable for all levels whether you are a beginner, teacher, seeker or just curious about yoga. Yoga Met Fit’s services deepen everyone’s knowledge and understanding of yoga through private sessions, group classes, workshops, lectures, spiritual retreats, kid’s yoga, special events, and a mentoring program.

Each individual shares a multidimensional nature that expresses depth, structure, space, composition and beauty. These sessions will aim to enhance personal growth through learning and educating attendees about some of the most fundamental practices that yoga offers. Anyone concerned with maintaining or improving their health and wellbeing should know that yoga can be the “root to wellness” on all levels.

Registration costs $15 per person for each of these sessions with 20% going to support the Tybee Arts Association. To register for sessions, please visit www.yogamefit.com/event/.
