Fishing on Tybee Island

April Fishing on Tybee!

Posted By Charissa / April 28, 2015 / , , , , , , , / 0 Comments

With the first half of April under our belt and quite a few trips in the books we can say that the fishing has been great!

Across the board on half day and full day trips, open boats, and private charters we are seeing some solid catches and plenty of action. The Seabass and Vermilion Snapper are thick offshore right now which is making for some great days. Also, Amberjack, Triggerfish, HogFish, Silver Snapper, White Bone Porgy, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks and Red Snapper are adding to the catches!

Open boats have been very successful and limits of both Vermilion Snapper and Seabass filled the stringers on quite a few trips recently.

Thanks for looking!!!

Remember GROUPER Season opens MAY 1st !!! And we should be seeing the first COBIA of the year any day now!!!

Book your charter soon! Reservations are starting to fill up! We look forward to seeing you!
