This year, Bờ Biển Hut introduces for Halloween, a family-friendly Haunted Hut Trail to benefit the Tybee Maritime Academy, admission for all ages $5, kids 5 and under are free. It runs for two weekends featuring a vintage feel throwing back to days of surf a go-go…it all started February 5th, 1958 when the American Air Force lost a 7,600 lb hydrogen bomb off the waters of Tybee. Somewhere soon after, a great white shark bit into the Tybee Bomb mistaking it for food and became radioactive. This giant, rogue shark not only has a huge bite radius, but by merely swimming past you, you are forever in the land of the dead as a zombie surfer…

It’s our favorite spooktacular time of year!  Join the Tybee Island tradition of Trick-Or-Treating on Lewis Avenue.  Celebrate our small island community as you walk up and down observing all the of decorated houses. You’ll see everything from front yards turned into cemeteries, to Jack-O-Lanterns peeking in the windows and don’t forget Tybee’s infamous Pirates. There will be a barrel in the City Hall lobby and at the Fire Station at Jones and Fifth Street, and the Police Department, where non-Lewis Avenue residents can donate candy to be distributed by the TIFD and TIPD for this event. Hi, we were thinking about visiting tybee for the day and do some trick or treating at night. I was wondering where parking would be? Would we be able to access the beach and will resturants be open like normal? Thank you for the info?

Is Lewis Ave. the only street you can trick or treat on? We just moved here and was hoping to have a lot of trick or treaters this year.

Hi Cheryl, pretty much all the trick or treating goes at Lewis Ave. on Tybee. The whole island comes and walks and visits. Its very fun.

Thanks so much !! We look forward to meeting many new folks 🙂 And yes, we do love it already. We’ve been vacationing here for about 9 years and fell in love. Hope you meet you around town.

Hi, we just moved to Tybee this month. I’d like to know where exactly we would go on Lewis for the Trick or Treating? Thanks so much. Terri

Hi Terry, the entire street is blocked off. We usually start at Lewis Ave. and Butler Ave. and make our way on the right side of the street and hit the other side on the way back. 🙂 Congrats on the move! Hope you will love Tybee as much as we do!!
