2019 Tybee Island Restaurant Week

From January 18th-27th, 2019 Tybee Island will be celebrating our very own Restaurant Week! Every restaurant participating will offer a 3-course, prix fixe dinner menus for only $20 – $30. A “prix fixe” menu is simply a menu of pre-determined items presented as a multi-course meal (typically an appetizer, entree, and dessert) at a set price. Tybee restaurants offer a diverse range of island fare, so be sure to eat well and eat often. There are no tickets, passes or coupons required. You can eat wherever you like, whenever you like!
Dining out with someone who wants to order off the regular menu? No problem! Each restaurant has their standard menu available as well. Reservations are not required, however at some restaurants they are recommended. Just call ahead and find out. Please keep in mind that beverage, tax, and gratuity are not included in the special pricing.

Soups

  • She Crab Soup with fresh lump crabmeat, flat-leaf parsley, finished with a hint of sherry
  • White Bean and Prosciutto Soup with chopped baby green onions, truffle oil; garnished with chopped arugula
  • Italian Sausage, Potato, and Bacon Kale Soup

 

Salads

  • Grilled Romaine Caesar Salad with white anchovies, candied bacon, Kalamata olives, and garnished with a parmesan chip
  • Strawberry and Goat Cheese Spinach and Arugula Salad with fresh berries, shaved red onions, spiced pecans, tangerines, citrus-raspberry vinaigrette
  • Wedge Salad with Maytag bleu cheese, pepper bacon, pickled red onions, baby heirloom tomatoes

 

Appetizers

  • Bang Bang Shrimp (or Chicken) served with Caribbean slaw, mango, papaya, red peppers, red onions, pineapples, and finished with a sweet chili aioli; available fried or grilled
  • Tomato and Mozzarella Caprese with fresh mozzarella, basil, heirloom tomatoes, and sea salt served on a bed of arugula and garnished with a dry-aged balsamic glaze
  • Tuna Nachos with blackened medium-rare tuna, served on a wonton crisp with pickled ginger, seaweed salad, wasabi cream, sriracha aioli

 

Entrees

  • Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass with a New England chowder, sautéed Brussel sprouts, little neck clams; finished with a Myer lemon and fresh dill.
  • Berkshire Bourbon-Glazed Bone-In Pork Chop with Andouille sweet potato hash, grilled asparagus, roasted heirloom tomatoes
  • Marinated Grilled Flank Steak with roasted garlic, matchstick potatoes, cream and spinach, and a roasted red pepper chimichurri
  • Southern Succotash with Fields peas, roasted corn, roasted Brussel sprouts, heirloom tomatoes, and finished with a carrot and parsnip puree

Desserts

  • Chocolate S’more Bread Pudding: Heath Bar crumbles, finished with a rum crème anglaise
  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie: graham cracker crust, fresh whipped cream, chocolate syrup
  • Banana Foster Cheesecake: caramelized banana and spiced rum; finished with fresh caramel and whipped cream, fresh mint
